Best of luck to you Cheyenne. Like I had said above, 4 months from when I submitted my app to hearing from them. Hang in there.

Question Citation Shares Phone Call

Does CS call and leave a message if your not at your phone (home or cell)?

Or, Do you have to make sure you don't miss their call the first time?

I updated my phone numbers today, to include my cell number. Cell was not given on the original letter and resume.

I heard about an August class in previous posts. That is most likely all worked out by now. Anyone going in for an interview soon? Is there any word on a Sept. class?

Thanks

Not sure about the answer to your question. They left a message with my wife while I was at work. Told her to have me call them back. Although it took a few days I was able to get in touch with them eventually.

Get your posts up and I'll send you a pm

O.K. I undrestand. You did get in touch with them. Great. I was a little concerned missing the call but like I thought, a professional orginization like CS would leave a message either way.

Second call took me almost 4 days for me to get time away from curious ears at work and also before the CS folks were gone for the day...I'm not on east coast time.

Glad you guys are getting calls. I hereby hand over my fractional flying hat to each and every one of you guys. I say this because I received a phone call from them about two weeks ago. we got to talking, and he asked me what my turbine PIC was. I told him I was shy of the 500 mark. MIND YOU, I JUST FINISHED TELLING HIM I SPENT 6 YEARS AT A FRACTIONAL, AND SEVERAL YEARS OF "CUSTOMER SERVICE" EXPERIENCE FLYING CHARTER, 91, ETC. For him not to see that I put my blood, sweat, and tears into a company, and seen it all doesn't count because i'm shy of some NEW BS time requirement? Oh yeah, every year at recurrent we had concierge training at my frac right at Simuflite! Oh, I more than qualify people!

Good luck to all my younger brethran! I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about the frac world, and to help you guys out!

Sorry to hear that Lear, (although I not sure I'm younger..just less experienced in the frac world, LOL). Even though you are shy, get that turbine PIC somehow, then you will be a shoo-in!

CS seems to be VERY people oriented. Customer Service seems extremely important. With that being said, I am certain attitude is just as important for them. They don't appear to want to be the biggest, they appear to want to be the best. I have read they have plenty of applications. They could start hiring alot but they don't. To be the best, you have to have the kind of people working for you that will allow you to reach your goals. Hard working, professional, sincere and proficient are just a couple adjectives that seem to fit into the CS employee character. That company seems to be different from the others in a good way. Just my observations from my own personnel research.

Best of luck to you Learflyer. Hang in there and keep a good attitude, I am sure your day will come.

9999, I like your reply. I have been in Learflyer's situation before. The fractionals seem to be the jobs that we all want... for all the reasons you mentioned. I interviewed with SWA a few yrs. ago, was rejected and told to apply again. Since then I have had a great corp. job and thought I had it made. Now the plane is for sale. I should have done the Frac. apps. long ago. Everything happens for a reason even if you have lots of TP time.

Let me get this web site right... if I reach 10 posts I can private message anyone who has at least 10 posts?

I'm on E. coast. and just waiting to hear from CS. I believe my times, etc. are good. I'm working everyday on interview stuff. Also, ready to drive down to their office... it's only 5-6 hrs. from me. I'll wait until they call first.LOL
