They only use LIBERTY and FREEDOM because "Mesa Scab" sounds bad.

Liberty is used if both pilots are Mesa Scabs. Freedom is used if only the Captain is a Mesa Scab.

Why is it that sometimes Netjets uses "Exec Jet" as their call sign and other times the use their N#? Does it have to deal with when they're deadheading?

ExecJet is used for domestic flights and NxxxQS is used for international flights.

Are you sure? I was under this impression that "Exec Jet" was used for NJA and NxxxQS was used for NJI.

Unless I've been using the wrong callsign for the past 4 years. NJI uses the NxxxQS for all flight. NJA uses NxxxQS for international flights.

CM...hope all is going well.

NJI always uses the NXXXQS. NJA uses the Execjet in USA and Canada ops. N# everywhere else.
