WOW 1.5 years!!! I am sick and tired of the 121 b...s...
9 years on the right seat with no hope of ever seen the left seat... All I want is to take the 121 stress out of my body (inc. commute) and just enjoy flying!!!
Did you do something to get their attention? Or just waited for the call?

The 121 stress?? Of having a dispatcher do the planning, W&B, check the weather, etc...? Or of having someone else load the bags, deal with the PAX, deal with the rampers,......? I understand that it's a crappy time to be at the airlines, but come on over to 135 charter and enjoy a whole new kind of stress. Wait until you are worrying about thunderstorms along the departure path, having just loaded 400 pounds of baggage in the 95 degree/100 % humidity of PBI, and you have some rich trophy wife, whose dog is scratching the leather, bugging you about low sodium Bloody Mary mix and celery sticks(even though there was no request for anything other than standard onboard catering) and screaming that she's ready to takeoff NOW and if you don't leapfrog those 35 airliners she's gonna call the owner of the company ( who is ALWAYS a personal friend) and her 22 hanging bags better not get wrinkled and her steamer trunk better not have a scratch on it because it cost more than you make in a year (no really, it did! I've seen it!). Now that's just fun. Seriously though, it's always nice to trade places for a while and get some new perspective/experience. Best of luck and hope you get an upgrade soon. And remember kids, boxes never complain! Except for the one in the back, looking for her Bloody Mary......

They go when and where their customers want. They have no set schedules or routes, and thus, no route map.
You may want to do a bit of research concerning fractional and charter operations, I think it will answer a lot of your questions.
