NetJets updates and apps

Hi All,
Quick question. When you update your application how do you do it? Do you just type up an addendum and send it in or is there a form. Also, when do you get the second application, before or after the phone interview? Thanks.

Here is a reply I received when asking the question to [email protected]:

"You can send any updates to this email address, please indicate that it
is an update in the subject heading."

Not sure if that means you should send the whole application package to them again, or just the affected pages. When I update, I'll probably just send the affected pages, and a new resume.

flyinboxes 07-09-2008 03:08 PM

OK great thanks. I think I'll just put "update to my name application" in the title. Then attach a word document with my updated medical etc. and a new resume. I don't think I'll include a new page from the original app. What do you think?

Gunpig 07-09-2008 07:31 PM

Have you ever received a reply via email after an update, or does it juts go unanswered? I have sent in a few with no words, figured the inbox was crammed with applications!

I received a reply once. There was an attached update form that came with the app received email, to use for updating. According to HR, that what they want used.

Gunpig 07-10-2008 10:37 AM

Yeah, I got that one with my initial app, just didn't know if anyone received replies to updates!

ficone 07-10-2008 02:45 PM

If anyone has the update form they could email, please PM me - thanks!

flyinboxes 07-10-2008 10:28 PM

Ok, well no app received email yet for me and I've heard some never even get one and just get emailed out of the blue for a phone interview.

Gunpig 07-11-2008 05:33 AM

I would have rathered the phone interview email then an app received email.

What is the best way to submit the application at NetJets? Complete the paper application, scan and e-mail? Complete the paper application and FedEx or U.S. Mail? Or can the application fields be completed on the computer and e-mailed (but in that case, what about the signature lines)? Thanks for any help.

Abby,

I downloaded the app and had to use photo shop to fill in the data. After printing I signed the appropriate areas. Pay very close attention to the instructions!! Finally, I sent it registered mail so I would know when they received my app. It took me a couple of days to put it together just right but I really want the job. I received an email "out of the blue" about 4 weeks later for the phone interview. I think the ph interview went well but I'm still waiting to hear. Good luck! I hope this helps.

T-1A, where are you based at? Reserve or active?

How did you fill out the Customer Service Experience part of the application?

Other than flight instructing and flying for the airlines it has been over 20 years since I worked in a different field.

Should I list the airlines I have worked for that were already in the employment experience and put more detail about customer service?

Sailaway 07-15-2008 10:41 AM

Yes, MHO...........

Bano 07-16-2008 07:30 AM

Should the application be typed or hand-written? Is there a computer program out there to use in filling out the application?
Thanks

Try this amigo. snagged it from another thread. BTW I did mine the old fashioned way and scribbled it down as neatly as i could. I received the e-mail from derinda confirming receipt. I just tripped the 1 year to go mark last week so I'll be updating my hours etc. later this year and then i'll stand in line with everyone else.

cheers

You can download the PDF and then upload it to On-line PDF form Filler, Editor, Type on PDF ; Fill, Print, Email, Fax and Export and type all the stuff in very neatly. It will cost you $10, but it comes out great. Then just mail it in. I mailed mine and got the email for the phone interview in 3 weeks. Good luck!

in the careers page of netjets.com on the right side click on "apply now", and then in the text on the left in blue it says "netjets aviation inc. employment application"... click on that and you can download it to your desktop. Then go to pdffiller.com, upload it, and type away. The only part I couldn't do on the pdffiller site was the big flight times matrix. It's sideways. I just did that with a pen.

Good luck!

How did it take to receive the e-mail confirming they received your package? Did you initiate an e-mail to them or did it come automatically?

It came automatically... it took me 2 months almost to the day but I submitted an app in Feb so who knows how long it is now!

utahrpm 07-17-2008 08:44 AM

I hand-filled in the app and mailed it. Did not receive any confirmation, but less then two-weeks later (this past Tuesday) received the email to schedule the phone interview. No internal recommends, so I was surprised to say the least! Good luck to everyone and keep the information flowing.

utahrpm, If you don't mind me asking what is your background. That seems like a really quick turn around.
