Another Avantair thread

The Avanti II has the Proline 21 avionics. The original Avanti has an older Collins set up that is more friendly for the left seat but spartan for the right seat. Avantair has a mix of Avanti and Avanti II airframes. It's luck of the draw which one you will be in. Depends on what version the sim is in when you go to training.

I just noticed on APC that avantair has added quite a few bases...anyone know what the base assaignment process is like at avantair, or the process for changing bases? I'm particularly interested in albany, ny. Anyone know the chances of getting that as a base right away with avantair?

Wow, just opened the base i was interested in, so, no move required if i got hired...if pay was only equal to my current salary, i know QOL will be a jump, and with the quick upgrade, the pay wouldn't be that big of a hit after a year...heck, after i get downgraded here, i'll be on par, with a nicer schedule and home more....think the application is going in.
