I know, to desparate? ...yeah, that has to be right!

PEOPLE! I'm not a spelling Nazi. Really I'm not. But this damn to, too, two thing is KILLING me. Why is it hard? If you misspell bureaucrat, fine. We're all human. But to, too, and two is EASY. It takes no effort. PAHLEEZ try a little harder.
You misspelled the word "please". Dat aint 2 hard iz it? ;-)

Is there still no pay during training at Avantair? Last I heard you didn't get paid until after your check ride. Or am I confusing that with someone else?

what would be the chances of getting dallas straight out of training? I have 2500tt 1800pic, 1100 multi, 600turbine, current 121, atp, cfii-mei, 24 yrs old, economics degree from big twelve university, eagle scout, pres of my fraternity in college. I've had many jobs with a customer service type back ground. Think I'll get a call?

They haven't called me, and I've got 5000tt 3000pic 2000 turbine pic, 121, cfi, mei, atp,a&p. mba from a pac10 university, webelo scout (thricely decorated, no corners cut from my tot'n'chip card), president of the student body at college, five internal LORs. Told them I'd pay for training. WHY haven't they called???

Oh yeah, and customer service? I wrote the book on customer service. Literally. It's called "To Serve Man." Problem is, it's a cookbook.

Okay, maybe not all that's entirely accurate, except for the part where I applied and they didn't call. But that doesn't make it right!

Still hiring running across new hires all the time, how are you guys submitting resumes. I think they have new online app on the main site (Avantair, Inc. - Home click on careers). From asking around a lot of us submitted through corporate sites, I did mine on bizjetjobs.com, got called around 2 weeks later. I know it gets busy in the office there. It always seems like everyone comes up for recurrent so training gets full and then have to squeeze Initial in there somewhere. Only one sim at FS, they are building a second one; not sure on the progress of that.

Try online app and through private sites, idk

Any of you guys flying regularly into PWM lately? An Avanti has been flying over my house on the way into Portland with some regularity the past week or two, and while I haven't bothered to dig through FlightAware to see operators yet, I assume it's Avantair.

The Avanti is definitely one of those planes you can identify without seeing it, nothing sounds quite like them (a Starship, maybe, but those are collectors items these days). I have a soft spot for canards and engines pointing the wrong way

As I recall, the Piaggio doesn't have a Canard, but instead a forward wing....Just hopeful i'll get a call for an interview, so i can regurgitate that to someone when it matters.

Yes, technically the aircraft is a biplane, or possibly a triplane if you count the fuselage as being a lifting surface. It provides 20% of the aircrafts lift.
