I'm trying to get an application in now... quick question for you guys.

Did you just download the application and fill it out with a resume and cover letter like the website says? I have two buddies that applied there at the beginning of the year and they were sending in copies of their driving records and all kinds of weird things. Can it be as easy as filling out an app and mailing it in? I don't want to be the one retard with a hand-written application if there's a better way to do it...

Thanx

I agree with Okie Play Johnson. I've emailed twice, once a week after the interview and then a month later. Both responses were positive. I'm going to send another or call at the 2 month anniversary of the interview. I'd just like to know what is going on. My AF pay is over at the end of the month however I'll have some retirement pay to fall back on. I would like to get started and get some air under my ass.

If I may chime in...I interviewed third week of May and received a phone call approximately two months later with a verbal offer with news that the written offer and class dates were to be available in "about two weeks".

The end of this week will be two weeks. I expect that it may take a little longer than that based on past precedent. Hope this answers some questions for ya.

GoMach2 - I think based on your listed days that I interviewed a day before you, and I don't remember any active military guys with our group unless I got confussed (not difficult for me). Anyway, good luck to you hope we'll all be there soon.

May I ask you your background/experience level to see if I am in the running.

Rabit: You can download the PDF and then upload it to On-line PDF form Filler, Editor, Type on PDF ; Fill, Print, Email, Fax and Export and type all the stuff in very neatly. It will cost you $10, but it comes out great. Then just mail it in. I mailed mine and got the email for the phone interview in 3 weeks. Good luck!

Soap,

your right, I interviewed the day after you. Just another example of what getting old does to you.

Rabit,

I saved the app in word as pic's. Then I expanded them to fill the pages, printed them out and used a type writer from work to fill them in. it worked, but 2furloughs way sounds better.

I noticed on this website that hiring has stopped as of July 15. Does anyone have any additional information?
