How has the New Contract affect NJI being non-Union
How is the new contract going at NJA and how does it affect the guys at NJI?I realize its an inprovement from what you had before, When will the two pilot groups be merged and NJI fall under the Union Contract? Is NJI hiring off the street or Only taking NJA pilot at this time and moving them over. Would like to get a better understanding of the operation and whats in store for the future there.

Hasn't really changed NJI at all yet. Down the road is anyone guess on how it will happen. Right now the new contract language states that for every 3 PIC upgrades at NJI 1 must come from NJA, as well as for every 2 new hires at NJI 1 must come from NJA. This is all being bid on by NJA pilots, the latest bid out now will be the 4th PIC from NJA to transition to the Gulfstreams, I am not sure but think there are 7 SIC that have transitioned as well.
Contract language restricts NJA labor union from fileing a single carrier lawsuit against NetJets for 3 years, at that point if NetJets doesn't make the 2 groups 1, NJA pilot union is free to file. At that point, (3 years) all indications are that at least 50 to 60 NJA crew members will be flying the Gulfstreams and the single carrier status is a no brainer to merge the 2 pilot groups.

Thanks for the reply. All those I come across in my travels enjoy the company it seems. Still waiting to hear back from them. What type of duty day do you work? How much flying do you do for the year? I get some info from a old friend who is a 6 yr, CA down in MCO. Nothing but positive things to say and promote. Glad you enjoy the operation. How many more new airplanes are come? Any idea? What could a new hire look forward to within the next couple of years? thanks for any info you my send my way.
