Netjets Mins

Just looking to see if anyone can either confirm or deny the rumor that MANY guys with VERY low time (500 hours) have been getting in largely based upon knowing people.

Why: I'm just at two grand now and also aware being competitive there means a lot higher than their bare mins (at-least not knowing anyone)

NJ Mins are hard mins. I think that rumor is just that, a rumor.

you won't even get an interview with less than 2,500tt and an ATP....

I think those minimums are probably required by our insurance coverage.

I know of one person hired with less than those numbers, had 2500TT with 480 multi, that was 1994 though.

I was told that the mins were in the owners contracts, i.e. "all pilots have a min of ...".

Not true, this isn't a 2 airplane op. where the chief pilot gets his son in as soon as he gets his commercial license.

The mins are non-negotiable. Our owners sign their contracts knowing all pilots will have a minimum of 2500hrs. Got that info from an IOE captain I flew with, he's been with the company 13 yrs.
