Can NetJets Pilots Not Be Friendly?
#71
There are pricks and poses at every place. Some NJ guys are tools others are totally cool. Some of my best friends are there along with people I'd love to have a go with.

I'm not a Netjets pilot -- I'm corporate -- but honestly, I don't even give it a thought when I board an RJ. I might nod or say a polite "good morning" to the Flight Attendant or, if one is standing there, the pilot. But it's really no different then saying "good morning" to the cashier at Starbucks, the bus driver from the parking lot, or the TSA flunky who checks my ticket. I'm really in my own little world when traveling and don't give it much thought.
It was, of course, different when I was jumpseating or flying on an ID-90 on another carrier. But these days I pay for tickets.

There are many NetJet pilots from major, regional and cargo airlines. We have a lot of misplaced pilots that were furloughed and companies closed doors. Most of our pilots have been around the block. Experience is how we got rid of the old union and put a new one in. We now have a decent contract. Myself, I had 13 years at USAir with three furloughs. Airlining brings back the pain. What a good job it used to be. ALPA out sourced our great paying DC 9, F28, F100 flying for low paying RJs and poor work rules. Airlining is not alot of fun. Recently, I sat next to a 250 lb gentleman going from ORD to ICT. He overflowed and spilled into my seat, passing some of the nastiest of gases. This on a hour and half flight with a seat that is as hard as a park bench with cloth on it. I still say thank you 90% of the time. There are times when you have had enough!

Modest huh? BTW, there never was any substance to your thread......
Douchebags have infiltrated every airline and frac company out there, Netjets is no exception. Now let's move on.
