Default NetJetting the Pool

I just heard a term today that I am not familiar with. Does anyone know what it means when someone says the term "NetJetting the Pool?"

I found this definition on Websters Dictionary site:

Pronunciation: \net·jet·ting·the·pül\
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English
Date: before 12th century
1: To string along a bunch of pilots by pretending to offer them jobs.
2: See Richard Santulling the pool.

The reason it takes so long is because NetJets HR spends most of their days patrolling these threads to see whose application to pull from the pile.
