My uncle's brother's cousin's neighbor's hairdresser told me that she heard from a pilot's girlfriend's sorority sister's grandmother (on her father's side) that....

.... FLOPS is going to lay off another 30 or so pilots in January.

My guess is you gain some sort of morbid enjoyment out of this post. Your talking about peoples wellbeing here man.......

I feel for them, and I hope this is just a rumor. They've worked under bad conditions for a while (morale, pay, etc), still waiting for a contract, and now this.

One of my best friends got involved with the union over at FLOPS, I think he is one of the guys negotiating the contract. I offered to help him get on here at NetJets back in 2005. He said "no thanks"..... some other friend offered him help at Southwest, he didn't take the offer either. He is determined to make FLOPS one of the best jobs around.
