Default 727 FE time

Can you use 727 FE time towards your 2500 time requirement at NetJets, or CS?

I'd write them and ask, although FE is time is "flight time".....it's not piloting time and certainly not PIC or SIC.

Sorry Bengalsfan,
No, they do not accept FE time towards the total time.
Been there, tried it, didn't fly.

I don't think it counts, however it never hurts to ask. Generaly the time has to be in the same catagory.

where did you get 727 FE time, if you don't mind me asking??? You flying for Transafrik or somethin??? I was looking at that outfit a while back as a good (although dangerous) way of getting some C130 or 727 time with low hours. They have a missile attack every once and a while, and I'm not sure what regulatory board issues the TR, but it's heavy time regardless.

Actually, bengalsfan, if you aren't flying for transafrik, maybe you should check those guys out...they fly civilian C130s and 727s, which it looks like you have experience with both of them...not to mention I think they fly UN world food program freight....can you say peace corps chicks???

Default Helo Time

Netjets is helo friendly, all helo time counts for the 2,500...... you could have 2,000 helo and the 500 ME-FW and be good for the next step for employment.

To answer the 727 FE question... no, I don't fly for that company... I'm all military. I have some buddies up here in MSP, who keep telling me they have connections at Champion, and that I should go there... but I don't want to go there if my first year or two is going to be sitting in the hole. I'm too close to the mins for the fractionals... which is where I really want to be.

Default Keep building the time

Keep on struggling, it may be worth the wait. Just got a call from one of my sons who flies for Flexjet. He was in Bar Harbor, Maine eating a lobster roll. He got tired of the Chicken Caesar salads they had on the plane.I'm jealous.
