NetJets assignments
I've been looking at the aviation interviews website and trying to make a correlation between the number of hours of the aplicant/age/ratings/etc to the type of aircraft assigned. I can see some relationship with the really high-time guys (8000+) and them getting larger jets, but other than that, I can't see a real pattern. Of course, one of the recurring questions in the interview is, "what aircraft would you like to fly". I was wondering if those of you who made it know how the company places you. Is there a rule they follow, or is it luck of the draw based on availability that month, etc...?
Also, how do they choose your home base? |

Also, how do they choose your home base? As far as basing, it appears they are trying to keep the domiciles equally staffed, so each interview group is tailored to certain cities. This week may be LAX, next week may be PBI/TEB. |
Thanks. I guess I just have to hope for the best at the time (if I get an interview).

Do the domiciles work the same as it would for a major? For example, if you are based at LAX...is it time to get a crash pad if you live somewhere else whiel on reserve? No more gateways?
