Did FLOPS announce more furloughs?
 

I heard from one of the victims of FLOPS last furlough that there were more today. Is this true? I hope not...............:(

Another 63 according to another board. Very sad to hear.

Flight Options furloughs 100+ employees
 

Aviation International News, Jan 2009 Page 6. "Fractional share operator Flight Options has furloughed more than 100 pilots, according to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 1108, which is in contract negotiations with Flight Options. Some mechanics and operational personnel were also laid off, according to Flight Options. IBT1108 negotiated a letter of agreement covering the pilot furloughs, which provides furlough pay until the end of December and medical benefits through the end of this month [January]."

What is the DOH of the junior pilot at FLOPS now?

Its gonna go back at least 6, 7 yrs. They've seen better days over at FLOPS

Any FLOP's guys care to share what transpired this weekend. I don't want to start a rumor on this forum, so any actual info would be appreciated.

Heard another 49 got furloughed today. Anyone know if that is true?

All the fractionals but one have furloughed, a bunch of flight departments closing down... Did anybody see that coming? (the day when a regional job would seem more secure than a corporate gig).. jeez what's this world coming to
