Default Citation X pay

I am new to the sight here, and I would like to, after I get out of collage and all, work my way to become a Citation X pilot. I just wanted to know what the going pay scale is for Citation X FO's and Captain's, and what I can do to better my chances of getting into flying the Citation X as soon as possible.

I just about have my private knocked out, and plan on completing my instrument over the summer. I hope to attend Emory Riddle in the fall of 2008 and plan to have my commercial, and possibly my CFII by them as well. Any information you all can provide would be of great help.

Thanks,
Nick Gill

I tink F/O's start at about 10K a month and Captains no less than 15K, of course that includes all benefits, 100 percent match on 401(K) etc.

As far as preparing yourself better, I think that you,by going to Emory Riddel, are in great shape, someone will probably pick you up soon after graduation.

Dizel8 was firmly tongue in cheek.... unfortunately it probably all went right over the head of our poor babe-in-the-woods newly minted private pilot.

The easiest way to get on a Citation X is probably to get hired by NetJets. The salaries for the X at NJ can be found here on airlinepilotcentral. Good luck.

My bad on the spelling now I know

Would it be to my benefit to have a type rating on the Citation X before looking for a job or is that something that is not looked at so highly?

As well what would be the best route to take in building the hours that are required by many of the companies what, would be most appealing to them.

I have a good friend that I fly r/c helis with that flies the Citation Excel for NJ that might be to of help to be in getting a job for them I would hope.

I would stick to flying "r/c helis" and finish junior high. Seriously bignickey, poor grammar, spelling and communication skills will keep you out of your coveted Citation X job.
