Default Net Jets parking Falcon 2000

I heard, that net jets was parking a bunch of 2000's. Any idea when they start parking them, and what is replacing them?

Some were parked last year while waiting on new engines, but the fleet itself isn't being parked. I believe the ones waiting for engines are on the road again, but I could be wrong on that one. Also, some have been sold/ traded in on the Global order so I guess those could be parked. However, parking the fleet before there is even a super-mid order placed is just not happening unless there is some new Airworthiness Directive that needs to be done suddenly. Then the parking would be only temporary. The company itself hasn't said anything about parking airplanes and I have no idea how this rumor was started.

Also important is the age of some of the Falcons..(along with a bunch of X's)

If you check each a/c individually through the FAA website.. (which I've done, it was a long process) you'll see a bunch of Falcons and X's are nearing or past 10 yrs. old..(not sure of the exact number because I did the inquiry last year and no longer really care about the numbers)

Also the Ultra's and 800's were getting way up there in age....And they are understandably gone via a pretty smart purchasing agreement that eliminated them quickly.

From a company standpoint it makes perfect sense to dispose of old planes. From a pilot standpoint it sucks because the replacements aren't going to arrive at as an alarming rate as they used to. Growth is just a punchline at the moment.

Looks like the fleet will consist of Phenom 300's, Globals 5000/6000/7000/8000, and whatver combination of a mid size order that occurs... (my guess is one of either the TEN, 300, or that new Latitude, or maybe a Lear 85.. My personal opinion is the TEN and 300. just a guess)

TEN......ready sometime in mid 2013
Latitude...slated for readiness in 2015 I believe
Lear 85....final stages
300....already in production and ready

I heard the company was pretty close to announcing a Challenger 300 deal a few months back, but sounds like people REALLY like the Falcon 2000, so back to the drawing board or in this case, the planing board

My guess, the new order will be a combination of 2000s and Xs.

Too bad the Legacy 500 is not in contention... That thing looks impressive with its FBW and good performance. After the Phenom 300 deal I thought the Legacy 500 would also get a good look - I guess not since Sokol is no longer there...

What's the latest rumors about orders? I had heard that pilots online were hearing maybe an announcement in March?
