Question about FBO's and Avantair..
 

Just wanted to know at the airports I have flown to lately what the preferred FBO's are for Avantair, heres just a few of them:

KIAD
KLUK
KTCL

I know they might have a contract with Signature FS but I'm sure it varies with different airports, but I was just curious where VNR parks at these airports.

Line guy... flying?! It happens occassionally, but not that much...

KIAD: Dulles International, Washington DC.

KLUK: Cincinnati Muni, OH

KTCL: Tuscaloosa Renional, AL


I don't know of many rampers who fly these distances. The only common link I can find is;

KLUK is 94 miles to KIND where there is a Signature FS.

KTCL is 159 miles to KFTY where there is a Signature FS.

I tried Landmark (the other FBO at IAD) and there is nothing close to the other two airports.

Anyway, I doubt you are a ramper who flies around the country. If you are then you are the first. I bet you are a Signature employee trying to see if Avantair is honoring their contract. Weird no matter what.

Actually guys I work at Maguire Aviation at VNY and I used to have a friend who had a CJ1 based at LUK. I don't know why no one would believe me. Thats pretty sad.......I've only been a ramper for less than a year.

exactly, we go where ever we're told, there is no FBO that we go to every time unless it's somewhere like KBOS where there's only one game in town.
