There are not bases, but domiciles. When you start a rotation, unless there is coincidentally a plane at an airport near your domicile, you will be airlined to the location of an aircraft to replace the existing crew.
This rotation I was lucky and started a trip from DAL, and it looks like I will be possibly ending my rotation in DEN, so from DEN I will airline home to DFW. Living in the DFW area is good for easier transition days, most of the guys that live on the west coast can have really long travel days when they have to airline from the east coast. Of the 8 on 6 off rotation the first and last day of my 8 day rotation are transition(airline) days, so that my 6 days off are real days off. |

Always collecting resumes, and possibly hiring a few people this year, but nothing solid yet.
