I think TSA is good for the business jet industry, how can it not be? but not much of a threat to the airlines, how many people can afford to fly in a private jet??

It is surprising, there are a lot of high net worth individuals out there.

well its great for small startup 135 companies. See Seaport airlines over here in the PDX area. They have billboards and ads with the #1 selling point saying "NO TSA." While still more expensive than flying commercially, it probably works for the people who can afford to fly 1st class.

I suspect we will be very busy at work because of TSA. Quick-turns are going to become more common I think.

I have to agree; the TSA is really hurting airlines whether people are talking about it or not in the industry. I know lots of people that are refusing to fly via the big airlines and are instead opting for a private jet or finding a "friend" with a pilot certificate.

TSA BS is going to "help" frax and 91 operators, but IMO the biggest benefit is going to be to GA manufacturers like Cessna & Cirrus.

It's only a matter of time before the TSA gets their tentacles in more deeply into general aviation. As we all know, they're a massive bureaucracy. Massive bureaucracies are only interested in self-preservation through expansion, i.e. creating a perception of increased need for their (ahem)"services". Eventually, no one will be safe from the TSA.
