Minimums don't mean anything today. There are just so many type rated 5000 hour plus pilots available, the chances of the 1500-2500 regional F/O getting are about zero.

Actually, attitude plays a big part with Avantair. I know one of the recent newhires was barely at the posted minimum. They made a good impression on the phone interview, and the face to face. Don't know what kind of internal rec's they had tho. All I can say is pepper them with resumes, and rub shoulders with any of the crews you come in contact with.

I heard from a guy who interviewed. Didn't get the job but said it was a positive experience and was treated well. I think he plans to resubmit future windows.
Phone interview first, then brought down for a day of meet and greets along with an interview that is pretty laid back. A few technical questions and that's a day. Find out in a day or two what the answer is.
The guy I know of did not get the job but was contacted by the VP Ops to be told the "bad news". Better than an email or form letter if you ask me...
