Over the years I've sent countless emails to various companies- rarely get a response and if I do, it's "call us." Then the phone message goes unanswered.
Oh well; "their loss" lol
Here's the dea-leo. Up until now companies COULD operate that way and be selective. But with the surplus of opportunity they are finding themselves behind the curve on hiring now. The table is being turned and you will start seeing more and more "cold" calls from companies like XO or Netjets bc they do t have the option to be as picky as they did in the past. My advice. Where ever your trying to get on keep updating and I'll bet you get a call very soon.

With that said anyone that wants to PM about the company feel free to.

Thanks for the info everyone. I realize I'm a new poster, but I've been trolling and reading so long, I figured why miss the fun? Oh, and my current job is selling off airplanes and essentially looking at closing the doors, so it's time to get something better in the works.

XOJET definitely knows how to recruit and they utilize the process on their schedule. Yes, people are leaving, but people are also getting hired. It's a very selective process and they want to keep it that way. It's a fun group of pilots and they want to make sure that we hire great people. You can be Chuck Yeager on paper, but even he wouldn't fit in here as an example.

Internal recommendations are the best bet to get your foot in the door, However people do get hired without them. Good luck!

Default XO upgrade

Hey guys, can anyone shed some light on current upgrade times? I was also wondering if when on your travel day home you can make a request to have them airline you to another destination other than your home base.

Upgrades are still about 12-16 months give or take depending on assigned aircraft. Yes you can start and finish from another city up to a few times a year, need chief pilot authorization I believe. Current pay rates and info is up to date in profile section.

I believe upgrades are closer to 24 months on the Challenger, much shorter on the Citation.

You can duty on/off at a different city than your base unlimited times, as long as it's approved by the chief pilot/DO each and every time. If it's not approved by the chief pilot in a given case, there are 2 "freebies" per year where they will allow it.

1. Does anyone know of any job fairs coming up? My one internal reference is going through upgrade and is difficult to reach at the moment.

2. What is the best way to update my resume with the company? I don't see a way to upload a current resume with new total times on their website.

Aero Crew Solutions in Chicago on May 5th lists them as attending. I tried to contact them via email regarding how to update an app, but never heard back.
