Thanks
I pay just over $200/mo for family insurance. Only option now is to use the HSA. It's not any worse than the PPO I was using at my last job as far as coverage. we have a $3K family deductible with $5K out of pocket, and the company pays $2,300 gradually over a year into the HSA account. If you participate in a wellness challenge (nothing too crazy) they will pay your December premium.

Pay for health insurance? My NetJets buds tell me they pay nothing and they have great insurance. Is that BS?

Not BS...But not everything either. They pay dearly in other means for that contract of theirs. Like wearing ties and all-day FBO sits.

And 10+ year upgrades because the old guys at the top of the list are still enjoying that free health insurance...

Yes. I tried to get a friend on without the written, and they told him to come back when he had it done. He's going through the courses now. Once you have your written, they'll give you the ATP cert along with the type so I am told.

Default Applying Soon

Greetings All,

Long time listener, first-time caller. I'm looking to apply to XOJet coming up in the next few months. I'm currently sitting at 1,850TT (should have 2,000 in the next few months). Just looking for help with the application process. It's always good to have internal recommendations however, the pilot I knew just left for WN. Can anyone shed light on the application process and what length of time I can expect to be in the "pool" of candidates? Should I apply even with no internal recommendations once I reach the minimums, or should I wait until I have a few recommendations? Thanks for any help!
