That sucks but since then XO has had defined rest for a long time and every level of leadership from the chief pilot up to the ceo and the investors/parent company has turned over at least once and sometimes more. Completely different people running the show top to bottom.
Not quite...your retiring DO is #1 at the company. She's been there longer than ANY of the above management position holders. Her hands are not clean.

MIL - civilian conversion factor?
Retired Air Force and strongly considering applying. Does anyone know if when I get to the online application portion where it wants me to input my hours, do they want me to use a conversion factor like some other airlines do? We only get 5 min taxi time allowance per sortie in the AF, and I've got over 2K sorties, so a conversion of 1.2 or 1.3 per sortie (like some Airlines do to military hours) could bump my time up. But, I do meet mins anyway. Also, I'm going to be living in LAS if that has any impact on my appeal to them. Thanks for any advice.

If you meet the mins then I wouldn't worry about the conversion factor unless it restricted you when it came time to upgrade (3500hrs I believe, probably not an issue being retired AF). There are a few folks that live in LAS and we operate out of there regularly so chances of a home start or end are possible. Day one would usually be an airline flight to Nor or SoCal I'd bet. Feel free to PM if you have any other questions.

Great thread! I have read all 150 pages and think that I have a pretty good feel for the company. Thank you to everyone that took time to share valuable information.
This is the type of operation that I am interested in flying for and I would like to submit an application for a FO position. I am currently flying for a Part 135 operation and am at 1500+ TT, I also have plenty of XC and PIC time but I am short on instrument and night time and so I obviously don’t have an ATP. I plan on aquiring the missing hours and the ATP next month and have the following question: should I apply now knowing that I don’t have the ATP and risk getting my application tossed out or should I wait until I have the ATP and apply then?

Sending a resume without the required qualifications (your ATP) will just get the application trashed since you aren't qualified.
Wait until you have ALL the required qualifications and hour minimums THEN send in the application/resume. And remember...minimums are just that...minimums. Most places, unless they're desperate, won't consider you with the absolute minimum so don't be discouraged if they don't jump right on your application.
Don't let that derail you, though. If you want to work there, keep updating/applying every couple months. After all, they may just get sick of your resume and call you in because you've demonstrated and ongoing interest in the company.
Good luck with your quest.
