Is CLT area 'east coast' enough to get a look at by XOJet, all else being equal?

Short answer yes. Half the time you go to or from work through there anyway. (If you're an east coaster at least)

Cool, thanks. I currently live in the PHX area but am looking to move to CLT to be near family. Filling out the app, my address will obviously show I don't live out east yet. Any thoughts from anyone here on how to avoid being passed over simply because I currently live out west and thus not having the opportunity to explain my desire to move east? I'd hate for that to happen.

Use your relative's (parent?) address on your application. Make sure your relatives are ok with it, but there's no sense in risking having your resume skipped over for that reason if you truely would move there if you got the job.

Doing that crossed my mind. I'm not very familiar with how that would come across, but I also don't want to risk getting passed over by being dishonest, with albeit good intentions, from the very beginning. Hmm...

XO is hiring west coasters again. Don't worry about messing around with the address.

Can anyone tell me what the current first year FO pay is? (The XOJet profile has not been updated since October 2013.)

$52k, with $1000/year increases. Not great, but an improvement over what it's been in the past. Captain pay tops out at $126k

Are you paid during training and what is the amount of the training contract?
