Airline points take a frustratingly long amount of time to accumulate even if you get sent on the same airline frequently. However if you want to travel during a block of 6 days off as opposed to vacation you most likely would just be asking the company to send you to your destination once you're off rotation and then from your destination back to work.
The company only allows two of these per year I believe.

Most do start from the east coast for easties or west for westies. They really try to keep it that way. Occasionally you'll get the all day airlines on day 1. Sometimes on day 8 it's more often.

Another couple of questions
How many legs do you do on average days 1 & 8? Are they good about getting you home on day 8? How much can you expect to get with the fuel bonuses? Are those paid at the end of the year? What would a flex schedule look like? Are you on the road longer than 8 days at a time?

I would say a very conservative average of $1000 paid per quarter on the challenger and about double on the citation. It could be significantly more or less.
