So it's just not SWA. Also people have left for other 91 gigs and another for a private company.

What are the chances of getting MKC? Is there a need there?

There is a need everywhere. I am sure KC has a spot or two.

Nothing public like that, but here's a general idea of how it's looking. Others feel free to chime in.

You can pretty much assume they will find a spot right now for an SIC in any base except HOU and maybe SAT. (Maybe someone down there can correct me if that's wrong.) 1200TT is the min and we hire many at that number.

If you're looking for a PIC spot you need 3000TT for the KA350 or 3500TT for the P100. There aren't as many 350s anymore so most street hire PICs can probably expect a 100.

They will sometimes hire off the street for CJ and P300 but it isn't very common. (Also kind of a sore spot for those of us who work here as the seat lock and "in some bases only" upgrade policy sometimes makes you scratch your head...) For those types you would need 4000TT.

Hope this helps everyone coming to this thread for info as I know APC's search function can be lacking and some of this info is buried... The best thing to do is apply and hopefully they'll get back to you pretty quick. The application isn't very long or anything either. They'll tell you before what position you're interviewing for in advance and you can make your decision to proceed or not from there.

Great info, thank you for sharing this. Personally, I was eyeing the CJ as I'm already typed, have PIC time on it, enjoy the plane, and exceed the mins. Always good to hear what's new at EAS. Thanks!

I applied to an SIC position with 4000tt 1500 PIC SE Turbine/135 and 2200 SIC/121 but no ATP. I haven't heard anything and it's been about 3 weeks. I only selected RVS for a base so that may have something to do with it. I would assume they would want guys who can upgrade quickly since they are losing guys so fast. Maybe I'm wrong though!

You are definitely more qualified for a street captain position with those credentials. The latest openings that I'm looking at don't show anything for RVS unfortunately. If you listed FTW as an option I'm sure you would get a call for an interview. Good luck!

Is EAS having challenges in finding quality PIC candidates, or do they typically have an abundance of applicants? I've never interviewed with them and have had my application in for awhile. I update semi-frequently. I have a handful of types (one of which is CE525S), 4500TT, 1500 TPIC (jet and SETP). I have a clean record, no failures, and have spent all of my time in corporate aviation. I'm curious if I'm just one of many they have to sort through? Or maybe there's a box I'm missing for a call?
