How does PTB work on the 8/6 schedule? I see that you get 15 days. Is it possible to use it for an entire 8 day stretch, so that you get 20 days off in a row?
Can you pick up OT by flying days off? Is contracting allowed on your days off?
With the move to the 8/6 schedule, do you anticipate pilots spending less time at home during the 8 days on?

Like Runsky42 stated, you can pick-up extra days flying for us, or outside of EAS. I anticipate that the move to 8/6 will keep the pilots flying every day, with about half of those being overnights, settling at 10-12 nights away from home per month.

And yes the PTB has restrictions to use it. Lots of guys getting denied time off even to be in family weddings. Mgmt says they are staffing well but on the other hand guys are struggling to get days off because they are short handed?!?

There is a 12 month contract regardless of seat for everything you do at EAS. Except for recurrent. Also a heads up to new SICs it states on the website they will pay for your CTP course but it is actually only if you upgrade.
