Most likely the culprit for the interrupted sleep was a rooster crowing to prove his manhood.

What is a rooter?

We have a roommate. "Chicken" has been a code around here for what others might call "alone time" for a while. It's just easier to use in a multitude of sentences. ;-)

I have personally experienced roosters that crowed well before sunrise in the carib. 'bout 2am all it takes is one to make a noise and then they all go back and forth for the next 7 hours. no natural predators on the island to come eat 'em when they are like that.

The education is much appreciated.

But your avatar is what really brought value to the discussion. Please tell us more.

Bermuda huh? Did he meet a lovely lady? Did he have a great time on the beach the day prior? Does he work for a union?

Yeah, must be the chickens.
