Default XO Jet Hawkers?

I'm hearing that XO is getting out of the Hawker business.

What are you hearing?

Heard some not so good stuff coming from XO guys. Hawkers are being parked, supposedly no hiring and some furloughs coming.

If there are furloughs, how would that work? I mean, upgrades are not based on date of hire either right?

Hopefully, if that terrible day comes, they will handle it better than they did in Christmas 2008. Read post number 53: Terrible spelling, but scary story. Many pilots only indication of a problem was when their Blackberry and e-mail quit working before they ever got the call. Classy.
On a brighter note, David Siegel who had left a trail of destruction before he even got to XO, is gone. The terminations happened right after he arrived.

XOJet would never furloughs pilots for parking a handfull of Hawkers..

1- they don't want to give pilots any more reasons to organized
2-their Hawker fleet is fairly small, those pilots can be easily absorbed into other fleets
