About 150-200. There's been some attrition and some guys taking leave so the number is hard to pin down.

Management is required to pay the IRS first, and if any money is in the bank, the IRS will quickly seize it.

Thanks! Lots of folks scattered about the country so any job leads are helpful. Kinda hard to listen to the grapevine when you can't get to it anymore...

Not to rub salt in the wound but the CEO was recently seen flying to the Bahamas on XO jet and lounging on his yacht, all while he knew damn well his employees wouldn't be getting the pay they are owed.

Borderline criminal. The lowest of the low.

They let the rats treat them like this, for years. This should come as no surprise to anyone. How the FAA let this continue for so long is amazing. Its a good day for the profession! and the FAA losses another good customer. They should be ashamed of themselfs, if thats possible.

Of those regional folks, many with TPIC? I'm thinking of how competitive they'll for the majors when hiring kicks in. Sucks big time. Good to know "key personnel" will still be employed.

You may consider it a good day for the profession. I, like many of my colleagues consider it a very bad day when we find out we cannot support our families. And the majority of us were doing the job right. I neither no nor care what your beef is with Avantair, but what kind of person indignantly cheers at the loss of work for another person?
