I have no illusion of a sub-decade upgrade and I'm fine with that because FO pay here dwarfs what I was looking at with Netjets (same or more days off, better work rules, etc).
I do hope enough people leave at Netjets to generate some movement. Unfortunately "creating movement within a company by making the job so uncompetitive to applicants with the desired experience" seems like a business school class taught by Hansell.
I've always said that Netjets is a good gig for captains and guys that live in 2nd rate cities (3rd rate is even better). There will always be "too much" central Ohio attitude, and I'm born and raised 614 (Westerville).

Too many variables to know. It could be a lot less than ten years. It looks like I'll be ten percent in four months, a year and three months total. 900 FO's are currently bypassing which will put me at 20 percent up the list in a year and a few months total time with the company.
We have ten sims operating right now. The new training center is opening this year with 18 sims and the capacity for 24.
There are massive plans to expand internationally.
The only real questions are will the economy hold out and allow them to execute their plans, and will we merge with another carrier.
I will probably be one who bypasses. Being a senior FO here is just too good.

Let's both hope out Industry Affairs leaders do well with NAI talks at the White House.

I clearly wrote "at least 10 years".

I know there are worse out there, but my duty days at the regional, while involving more flight hours, were easier on me than at NJA. Much less in the way of crew rot, long duty days/short overnights, and last-minute schedule changes resulting in large circadian shifts. And almost all my time at the regional was spent on reserve.
