I'm not lying.

And you're absolutely delusional of you think this company will stay at the current size or get smaller.

Clearly, at best, you don't understand business.

Additionally, do some research... ask some questions and stop assuming.

Until you learn more about this business, do yourself a favor and get off stage. Leave the mike. No. Don't drop it. You don't get that privilege.

I really don't think it's delusion man. This company has all the signs of a business just getting by, it really does. It will take a half decade or more to get the fleet update to where they can expand, or longer. How many years does it take to get 275 airframes? No more money in the contract for the pilots, hiring is not matching attrition. We are not losing airframes for a net loss, we are going for a net zero on airframes, yet we are losing pilots. The seniority list is shrinking and they are doing more with less. More efficient my ass, they are just working pilots harder. I am, as most are, looking at it through skepticism and apprehension. Rose colored glasses and hope are good, but they don't change the facts present right in front of us.

Where are you getting your info FLYLOW22? I've been here for 10+ but you seem to have all sorts of inside info?? What you spew is not what the rest of us are being told by management. What makes you so special on the 'goings on' of NetJets future direction ?!?

I've been to the exact same recurrent briefings as you. The plan is pretty clear if you piece it together.

Tell you what, given it a year... better yet, 2... prove me wrong.

You on?

At the current rate, 2.7 years.

Hiring doesn't seem to need to match attrition until the sims are in and the decision to accommodate more Owners with more planes is made.

Would you hire more pilots to sit around because simulators are in the process or moving across Hamilton Road on trucks?

I know I wouldn't.

Your view is from a short snapshot of company history. I'm not failing it. It's what you have.

To unravel this puzzle, you need to think back to 2010 when BRKs first emissary arrived. DS.

So your interpretation of the briefings is correct and everyone else is wrong?

Hiring absolutely needs to match attrition. The airplanes are still here, again, NET ZERO. NET ZERO! There aren't less airframes, there are less pilots with the same airframes, this is 100% factual, there is no room for debate on that...

There is no short snapshot view of the company, this is factual information available. This is not assumption, hope, or estimation. This is readily available information, with the addition of the WORDS SPOKEN FROM MANAGEMENT that backs up what I and many others have said in here. It couldn't possibly be any more clear than when the factual evidence matches EXACTLY what upper management says.

You both are focusing on what has been said without considering the content. 2 years ago, they started saying no growth.

3 years to go... sounds like the remaining 2.7 years to replace the fleet, doesn't it? Yes.

In about 3 more years, we'll have replaced all remaining tails and at sometime prior to that point, I think you'll see an aircraft order placed to take us past current fleet size and grow to a number of managements choosing.

Current fleet size is a great launch point. It's a very healthy point to operate from while replacing minimum tails on property 1:1 and maintaining current staffing.

They've been very up front. They've been very clear. "No growth for 5 years." How can you quantify the statement without referencing the unit of measure???

You're both smart guys but you need to focus on the long game and not the limited perspective you might have from the pointy end of a jet.

Place you bets. Some are leaving, some are staying.

Ain't aviation grand?

You know what else you're forgetting? Greed is good. Business will seek more revenue and profits. NetJets is a business... and more actually.

Been playing the long game for a decade now. Good enough to move 10% up the seniority list. There are no changes coming either, sorry to break it to you.
