Really? If you get hired by Piedmont into an ERJ they say you could flow to AA within 5 years (obviously no guarantee depending upon the economy, etc.) and earn close to $60K first year if you have previous 121 time. I am sure that sounds pretty compelling to many pilots who want to fly for a legacy.

Not even remotely close. You will make more money at NetJets and you are home based, those are the only advantages over a lower time guy going to NetJets over a regional. You are getting 121 at a regional, and you will get 121 PIC a decade faster than you would get 135 PIC at NetJets.

If one wants to make money and doesn´t care about the flying......go to a Major
If you want "diversity", see cool and remote places and meet people which you would never meet while flying for an airline......go to an outfit like NetJets etc.
It all comes down to what each individual expects from his or her job.
Why on earth do people have to justify why they want to apply for NetJets....seriously??
