That doesn’t sound like something I’d say lol. I’d be utterly shocked if they hired 100 pilots in 2018. They hired maybe 15-30 in 2017?

So how do you all think this new tax bill will impact companies like NetJets? Obviously us pilots are all going to get higher wages and more tips due to the tried and proven trickle down effect, (sarcasm) but is it likely to lead to more business for private jet operators?

Pilots should take home more of their pay (generally) but NJA isn't expanding regardless. No orders, no plans on hiring, no profit sharing.
Even if the tax plan resulted in 100,000 more people trying to fly in private jets, NJA might pick up 50 new owners.

Maybe, until tax refund time when they can't deduct their state income tax and the standard deduction is too high to itemize. What it gives in one hand it taketh more from the other.
This bill clearly favors the very wealthy ie NetJets type clientel. Now they have more disposable income could that translate into more business for NetJets? I know business get to write off private aviation as a business expense and depreciate the asset, but could that have an effect on orders?

If you live in California, pay 13.3% state income tax, and have 6 kids, you probably won't take home more.
If you live in Columbus and make 150k, chances are that you'll pay less in taxes.
NJA Business Wise:
None of this matters because NJA doesn't have the airplanes or crews to grow and they haven't shown any indication of doing either.

(Except for the $1 trillion hole in the deficit problem.)
