Netjets latest & greatest:

It's been 4+odd years since 400 plus we're furloughed back in 09. Anyone in the know? Thanks!

No signs of recalls at all

Things look like their settling down a bit, profits should be about the same, or maybe a bit more than 2011, 2012....

12 Globals by the end of the year, our fleet of 20 G-450/550s will be kept until 2020... The company can't sell the G-IVs, so they'll be kept until 2017

Several Phenoms arriving as well

Actually, 2022 is the newest Gulfstream retirement date. And I'll make a prediction: At some point in the next 3-5 years, somebody in the company will come to their senses and realize there is room in this program for the Global AND the Gulfstream and the program will be renewed and extended beyond 2022.

Also, the first CL-350 arrives next May and the salesmen are chomping at the bit to get them on the property. It is going to ROCK.

What this all means for recalls is anybody's guess. I'm hoping a mass exodus of FO's and junior Captains to the 121 world will have a faster impact on the recall picture.

Just curious if there are any estimated retirement numbers per year out there with NJ? I know a few buddies furloughed that have found good work since haven been laid off. Hope callbacks come sooner rather then later.

Out of curiosity, what is the most popular aircraft, from a customer standpoint. Aka most widely "sold". I am thinking the Hawkers ?

Are those 12 Globals in the US fleet alone or in the combined US & Netjets Europe fleets?

Are the Globals sourcing their pilots from the Gulfstream fleet (i.e., former NJI pilots) or are legacy NJA pilots getting to move into them too? I would think the former NJI guys would want to stick to their Gulfstreams.

I think it might actually be the Citation Excel.

the former NJI guys love their Gulfstreams, they're always talking about how it used to be, and perhaps the company might "order some G-650s". They love their Gulfstreams, but i think they're in denial.... The company has moved on, Globals are the future, and they haven't accepted that.

Globals are going by seniority, although a few VERY senior Gulfstream guys were displaced into that fleet.

We have 12 Globals on property, 10 in the U.S, 2 with NJE

Talked with a Netjets pilot last week and he said internal movement between fleets is nonexistent. But aren't certain fleets being deactivated while newer airplanes are coming in like the Globals and the Phenoms? If you are a mid-level XLS Captain, are you really stuck in that position for awhile - or would you expect movement in a year or two as more Globals and CL350s start to arrive? Are Xs and G200s on their way out as the newer Challengers arrive?

The XLS guy I talked to was negative about internal movement. What about switching FO seats from small cabin to large cabin aircraft like the Gulfstreams or Falcons? How often do you guys get to bid on other seats?
