Delta Private Jets
I have a former colleague about to be furloughed and is applying at DPJ. The info I have read here isn't exactly positive, but it may not be up to date either. Would anyone care to elaborate on recent QOL/pay or is it still status quo?
Thanks in advance.

I guess the only positives I can think of are: better pay than regionals, positive space to your plane and back. If he's a commuter, it might be an okay gig in the meantime.

Your friend would be better off not flying than working for them.

Same story, same schedule. You will work your butt off when you are there. 7/7schedule with NO VACATION. I think there is also a 8/6 schedule too. Only 2 crews per plane. Also, if your plane is gone, and you can't switch to another plane. You are gone.

I too have been there and I was lucky to escape just as my training contract was coming up for renewal (year 2 of 4, you have to sign the contract each year before you go to recurrent or you are fired). ANY other job will be better then getting involves with DPJ.
BTW they are not a fractional.

Most of the pilots there are furloughed fractional or corporate furloughes. That's how they get people that are already typed and experienced. The have no funding from big delta to buy types for new hires. It will ruin your life! Thankfully I was able to leave and get a good 121 job.
