Be aware that they’re going require you to sign a 2-year Promissory Note or at least a 1-year even if you’re typed. That’s not industry standard IMO. I fly a managed jet and they repeatedly tried to make me sign one even though the owner had stated no contract required.

Actually, while concise and blunt, that is an accurate summation.
Delta Private Jets is run by their accountant with his trusty red pen. The CEO has turned over 4 times in the past 3 years and so have the D.O., Chief Pilot, and countless other positions.
The fleet are all lease-backs; an amalgamation of ancient equipment from distressed owners who are going to get back as a carcass. I think one of the Citations (probably still in the fleet) was serial #20.
Maintenance coerces pilots into flying un-airworthy equipment and will ops check ok a missing wing if they could get away with it.
Pay is low, health benefits are lower, per diem is even sub-standard.
The Scheduling fiefdom is run by a single maniacal troll for 200+ pilots.
Basically if that company did not use the "Delta" name it would have gone under a long time ago. They are borrowing credibility from their parent company's brand to attract pilots, customers, and airplane owners all who eventually wake up to find themselves smelling like vaseline and cheap liquor.
But hey, your friends and family will think you work for Delta Air Lines, so you got that going for you!

1x for Buzzjobs summary. While it only highlights and condenses the Root problems at DPJ, it is accurate, particularly the CFO/Accountant part. Of all the management changes thru the revolving door the CFO is only one who is constant. He believe he was there as far back as the Segrave days. 2010-2011 Ish.
I’ll ask on this thread too :
DPJ has just had their second President, in the last year at least, recalled to Delta for a new assignment. The CFO is acting president again.
Has anyone heard of any possible company sell off, acquisition, merger ect? It Just feels like something is brewing.

Does anyone have anything positive to say about this company?! The first officer pay and 8 on / 6 off schedule seem pretty similar to comparable companies like flyExclusive. Anyone have any specific accounts of maintenance issues? And what is the recurring problem with scheduling?
I am considering DPJ, but I’m not encouraged by what I’ve read here. Just wanted to get some up to date takes on these main issues. Thanks for all helpful replies.
