Training is intense, also figure out which soft foods you like now, that way you can tell them each day what you'd like to eat.

As are Delta, United, American, Fedex, UPS, Southwest, the FAA, etc., you get the idea.

It must be frustrating being wrong all the time...that and the poor eye sight, uncontrollable bladder, erectile dysfunction, etc. Time to hang it up princess ;-)

When I was apprenticing in the DC3 one of my mentors , Pete was 64 years old, a WW2 vet with 12000 hours in the Douglas alone, he was an artist at the yoke, a Captain right out of the Ernie Gann canon, and I learned so much from him. Until a firm retirement age emerges from the current scrum ( I'm hearing 70), guys, and girls will be in these 135/91K seats till Medicals, Checkrides, or hopefully common sense prevails and they decide it's time to go. My chief pilot at the museum I fly for is 77, he is typed in the B25, and the C47 , and does a great job in both, yet he is long retired from his day job flying Convairs in the wee, wee hours between the Detroit, Laredo, and all those quaint Mexican towns nestled in the Sierra Madre. Mama Mia , before you get going on another Moonbeam , name calling profane rant know that I don't think you are completely wrong, and that I hope an equitable solution for everybody emerges from the ongoing discussions. Cheers out. : )

That's the problem. Greed/"I'm still having fun! Isn't that cute?" will always trump common sense...right up until the crash. Just ask the gummers. They're proud of it.

Does NetJets consider travel home at the end of your tour duty time, or do you duty off, then travel home?

On duty, and subject to the same 14 hour duty limit as any other day, unless you agree to go over. If you don't agree and they can't get you home in time, you'll get shut down, go to a hotel, and get home on your first day off with a pile of cash (equivalent to three days' pay).
