Only count on not getting home maybe 2-3 times a year max. NetJets is really really really good at getting you home at 13:56 of duty.

I have watched the bickering on this page for a long time and it is quite entertaining so thanks for that. But I always thought the whining about old captains was just a bunch of usual pilot bs. As of yesterday I now get it and feel awful for the FO's. Last fall I was in Colorado and waiting on passengers when a netjets plane pulled up and when the captain came out and walked with a cane I about died laughing but thought its just one guy out of many. Then yesterday in KC a captain had to walk backwards down the air stair one step at a time with the help of the FO. Then rode the atlantic cart to the building and left the poor FO who was actually older himself to handle the passengers and their bags. I now understand what you guys are ****ed about. I thought a captain always had to be able to assist passengers evacuate in an emergency so if the pilot cant even get out of the plane how is that even legal?
Anyway if they are that slow in the cockpit as well I think the passengers deserve to know. If I paid that much for a flight I would want a competent and capable air crew. I guess if I was making 200k/yr as a captain and make could make the FO hold my hand I guess I would stay too. Thanks for the laugh!

It is even more fun when they have so much medication stashed in the passenger ice chest that you can't use it for the passengers. Or when the CA asks "hey is that the runway?" multiple times....

Take every opportunity to talk about ponies and balloons.

OK, I have a horse so that should be easy. Maybe I'll bring some balloons with me too.

Thanks for the tip!

Be yourself. It doesn't do you or them any good to do anything but. Relax, get a good night sleep, and enjoy meeting a bunch of new people!

Thank you. I genuinely want to get hired there. I've tried 121 flying and I'm fully aware of the upgrade times. It will be a drop in pay but the schedule and being home based is worth it for me. Commuting is miserable and so is living in the majority of the major airline hubs. No doubt NetJets is far from perfect, but all things considered I think I'll be happy there.

Sorry Jetlife.

Don't be sorry man, hope you enjoy it. I don't think you will, we ALLLLLL said the same thing when we interviewed and got hired. But you won't know until you try it.
