Always 2. Per the MSPECS and OPSPECS. SIC is a required crew member

Since when? I wouldn’t call someone listed as an observer on the manifest, who isn’t even SIC typed, and is as useful as a boat anchor a “required crew member”.

Read your MSPECS OPSPECS. I didn't write them. What they say unfortunately goes. Not necessarily what you and I think.

I’m stating this from experience having worked there. There’s also plenty of videos recently posted by some idiot who works there flying single pilot the majority of the time. What the specs say and what happens are two different things.

I agree with you. I was simply stating the "required" crew member literature.

Anyone know what kind of resume it takes to get a call back for FOs?

Well, this is all quite a read!
Got my call today from them with interview scheduled in the Phenom 300. Looks like they keep getting more and bigger jets but all I hear is people with bad things to say. Something doesn't add up.
Anyone work there currently or recently with some insights? Mouths to feed at home so I don't want to get it wrong.

Iv worked at Nicholas Air for 3.5 years. Great place to work with good pay and benefits. I usually do not do these forms because they are just places for people to talk negativiatly. A few of us pilots heard about these negative post from a friend that was interviewing here and so figured I would chime in to defend the great place I work. I came from a large 135 operator before here. The equipment here is amazing and you will not find a company that maintains newer/nicer planes. I’m not just a number here in some union pool and the management team all the way up to the CEO cares about us. The company has very high expectations and standards, much higher than anywhere I have worked before so its not for everyone. There is some turn over but it’s because they weed out the weak links quickly, probably which is mostly where the negatives you are hearing come from. If you want to be disrespectful and not follow the policy’s then its not a place for you. The customer pool we fly is super successful therefor demands the best. I don’t know how they got some of them but you get to meet people I never dreamed I would. Its a very tight network. I plan to retire here as its a great stable job that I love. If you have a family and looking for stability its a great place to be.

thx ey. The bad comments I saw here are pretty rough but seems like you have had good experience. My current 135 seems to have the job jumpers that leave right away for bigger planes and then badmouth the company for any reason once they leave to make themselves feel justified. My guess is this is the same case here?
Interview is on Thursday next week.
