It's his belief in "efficient markets". This is the mantra of Wall Street and Buffet, while critical of some tax structures and the concentration of wealth (he's one to talk), It's what every Banker will tell you, if you don't like the job go elsewhere, if they are losing too many pilots the pay and working conditions will go up.

Oh really....in 2009 Randy Babbitt, former head of the Air Line Pilots Association was appointed by our current President to head the FAA. A union chief to head the FAA??!! Now THAT'S labor friendly, and why we have FAR 117 today. Your opinion, and the facts don't jive. There is a reason Democrats enjoy the majority of union PAC money.

The fact that cargo pilots, who arguably have the most need for improved fatigue regulations, have been exempted from FAR 117 by the labor friendly folks has been a difficult pill to swallow.
