Default Best CareerPath for Corporate/Fractional

Hi, I am wondering what is the best career path If I want to fly for Corporate or Fractional Company. My career goal would be NetJets.

If someone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated.

Also, is Single Engine Turbine Time PIC worthless ( Caravan/ PC-12NG ) when my goal is Corporate/ Fractional Pilot Job ?

Thank You
Marek

NJA has pilots from all walks of life. I flew for NJA for over eight years and during that time I flew with pilots that came from elite military backgrounds, 121 to 135 freight (myself included). I also had a handful of C-208B PIC time which adds to total time but is not really competitive in my opinion. I would try and get a job in a crew environment flying a transport category aircraft logging choke hours. At NJA you will be in close contact with the owners and I would bet NJA would like to see that you have some experience in customer service. Maybe like fine dining or FBO front desk experience. NJA is a great job that offers its pilots a great package and hopefully that package will get a bit sweeter in the coming months. It's a great goal to have, but keep your eyes open along the way as many opportunities will present themselves. It's a good time to be a pilot.

Thank You, for the quick reply. I am considering going for the C-208B PIC but reading the forums here it is not advised since the time is not as valuable. Planesense operates the Pilatus PC-12NG but that is also a singe engine. From all the reading I gather than to be competitive one must have multi engine PIC

Would you suggest regional for the short term ( it might take a while to get PIC with a regional ) ?

or the other route would by to fly Freight Part 135.

If you have the flight time to get on with a regional that has a base in your area, I would suggest that. That being said, I loved my experience as a 135 freight dog. I just don't think being a freight dog looks as good to the hiring board. It seems some of the regionals are offering better deals these days so apply and see what happens. My experience in this game has been that it helps who you know and how hard you are willing to get to know those people.

Porsche you should take a look at Executive Airshare. I don't know what your times are but usually with in a year you can upgrade to a PIC spot and get a taste of what frac flying is all about. I know we are hiring quite a bit right now.

Hi, I have about 400TT and 28Multi Time. I am planning to be at a 1000TT by the end of next year. I was just planning ahead and wondering what career path would be best for corporate.

What are the minimums at EA? I'm currently doing on-demand freight right now. Just wondering!
