Default NetJets upcoming classes

Since the hiring thread started to drift figured I'd start a new one. Since there are several of us swimming thought it would be good just to hear about upcoming classes and equipment. I know there is a class that just started with 17(?) folks in it and would like to hear about any others that might be coming in the near future.

Thanks!

I have a buddy in the same situation - waiting patiently in the pool. Are we expecting mostly Phenom slots in the near future? He will need to cut back on his fast food intake...

Unfortunately I think so. However since it's height based not roundness he should be able to continue enjoying his BigMacs

Heard from a friend that he is going to class on 8/24. Was told probably Phenom. But another buddy was told that for the 7/20 class, and he got the Excel.

I wouldn't even count on the plane you are told, until you are at FSI. I had heard rumors of planes changing multiple times for people during indoc. In my class, we initially heard mostly XL, then when we were given aircraft assignments, nobody got the XL.

You could certainly narrow it down, at least. Phenom, Excel, Encore, Sovereign and Hawker are you're best bets. The X is possible but has less odds based on what has been assigned so far. Returning furloughees have been assigned the Falcon but no new hires have seen it, the 350 or G-200. Hopefully you get the call to join soon!

Yep, you can narrow it down to the possibility of being assigned any aircraft below 40,000 lbs lol. We had 2 X assignments in our class, anything is possible depending on the needs of the company. Phenom is the money ticket right now though so odds are if you can fit, you'll find yourself in one.

Kinda sux tho as those of us who don't fit in the Phenom might not even get a class date and then a plane we could actually fit into might drop during class. Oh well keeping my fingers crossed for some good news soon...and the sooner the better!

There has been talk of revamping the way Aircraft assignments have been handled since hiring has started. Guys have been displaced out of aircraft like the X, and forced into Aircraft like the Phenom. Then you have new hires going into the X which might naturally **** off those displaced pilots. I'm not sure what they will do to fix it, but they are aware that it's an issue. I wish I had a better solution for those who are waiting for a class date. The 300 is junior for FOs because it's a new small cabin aircraft. Naturally there isn't a lot of FOs bidding out of their current aircraft and into an FO position in the Phenom to create open bids in other aircraft.

When did your friend do his interview? Just curious where they are in their line up.
