Thanks to a Fellow Professional

I want to Thank the kind XO Jet Citation X driver that helped our Aircraft this morning.

Slow morning for Teterboro, but after firing up both engines, there was no line service in sight to disconnect the GPU. This great guy, parked next to us, saw us looking around and initiated the "disconnect GPU?" signal. "Yes...! Thank YOU!"... The guy I'm flying with says, "If he notices the chocks, I'll (bleep) my pants. Sure enough following the the disconnect, this Professional Pilot, came to my window, and initiated the "Pull Chocks?" signal! We are off on our way.

You Sir, did exactly what I would have done given the same scenario, though I find few in our profession extend the same courtesy.

To this unknown XO Jet Pilot, I Thank You!

Do you recall if it was 753 or 769XJ?

Oh yeah...call them back and make them refund whatever fees you paid for handling/parking.

It was 769, I wrote it down just in case our paths cross again. Needless to say I owe him a beer, when off duty of course.

I forwarded your msg to the crew. I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

This kind of stuff needs to spread around the profession. Well done. :)
