Default Effect of pilot shortage" on frac/charter ops

Since there is a massive hiring spree going on at the regional level, and supposedly an upcoming hiring wave at the major level, how do you all think will this affect the hiring numbers in fractional/charter sector if any?
Seems like it might trickle down to this side of things if guys are wanting to get over to the majors at some point versus staying put in the 135 or 91k side of the house...

I'm sure all sectors will feel some attrion to the majors/Legacies as they seek to replace their predicted retirements. "Shortage" is still debatable. I think the regionals and some small freight operators are the only one experiencing staffing issues, due to the lack of pay and quality for life issues. Fracs tend to have better pay and benefits. Yes, there will always be the pilot that wants to fly 121, and the fracs will see some turn over, but I don't think they will have issues with finding replacements that regionals struggle with.

I had worked for a smaller charter company that couldn't hire a single FO this year. Last year they hired 6. Their pay and benefits are below standard so that should tell you something. In general, I think you will see candidates being pickier about where they want to work - because they actually have a choice now.

The regionals are really hurting for pilot as well as what I call lower tier 135 passenger and freight companies. The better or higher tier jobs are still hard to get in my experience.

I keep updating with Options, Flex, and XO but not a word but then again I don't have an internal rec either 4700tt 1400 multi 1,000 TPIC three type ratings. This is just my experience others might have a different story to tell and maybe a lot more experience than me.

I think as things progress with hiring at the major and national level things will be picking up but maybe that's too optimistic. All you can do is keep building your experience and network.
