In 2007 the 1st year FO pay was close to 57K. In 2015 dollars that is the same as 65K. A 20% raise would be 68K. Sounds like you all just kept up with inflation. Wait, next year you will fall behind inflation, and the year after that, and the year after that.

It shouldn't matter how big the plane is. The only thing that matters is how much revenue I'm generating for the company. If I'm generating the same revenue as a SWA pilot, I should be paid what he is.

That's cool that you got the actual numbers. Where's your link to that information?

Let's just thank god YOU aren't negotiating for those guys. Like a post said, these guys generate more revenue per pilot than SWA. All I'm saying is sometimes pilots cut themselves short. They accept dog chow when in fact they should at least eat steak.....even if it's not a filet. They've been cleaning toilets after some hundred plus millionaire has ****ed all over the bathroom during turbulence. Flying the plane is only a third of what they have to deal with. Pilots need to stop accepting mediocre pay while being treated like a slave. Working 80 hr weeks is not a job most of us would accept. Yet we do! When you break down the numbers per duty hour NJ pilots make less than a carpenter. Around $60 an hour. 10/250 is absolutely fair and NJ can afford it! Don't sell out, NJ pilots! Demand what you deserve.....
