NetJets Interview
I have an interview pending with NetJets. Can anyone please provide any info on interview questions, style, content, etc. Also, sim eval info on type approaches, profiles, sim type, etc.

The interview is easy. Just answer simple questions like why do you want to work here?, etc. As long as you don't tell them the company is cheap and everyone is leaving as soon as they get their retro checks, you will pass the interview.
The sim eval can kill your chances of being hired, if you don't do it right. Typically departure is out of Atlanta Hartsfield heading to the east, a climbing turn to the northwest for some steep turns to the left and right. Then told that radar is out and to expect a clearance to hold over a VOR, north of ATL, you'll enter the hold once around the pattern, then be told your cleared for the approach (ILS to runway 27L or something similiar to that). Anyway you will be expected to fly from the VOR north of ATL, down a vor airway cross and intersection which is directly over the airport and fly a procedure turn outbound then intercept the localizer and glideslope and land the simulator- non radar. Don't do a 45 procedure turn, simple time 15~20 seconds from the intersection, turn left fly a modified holding pattern outbound (make sure you don't exceed the 10 mile procedure turn limit) turn left again to intercept runways 27L from the south. Make all required radio calls (no radar) and land. Sim is done in Columbus, Ohio, typically in the old Citation II sim that Nutjets doesn't use anymore for initial training. |
Hey Cody,
HOw did it go in your interview? |
Cody or others, how long after the application accepted e-mail until your interview? Which domiciles did you list and does it matter which you put down when it comes to call back times?
Thanks. |
