1. Is current upgrade time at 10 years?

2. Is it hard for a new-hire to hold this 18 day schedule?

3. Any way someone could post the 7/7 rates as well?

Thank You!

The current upgrade time is essentially never (greater than 30 years)...certainly not within the realistic expectation of a new-hire's entire career here. We have no mandatory retirement age.

I resigned from NetJets in July with a hint of hesitation because I thought maybe the Union would pull through with a contract that would be comparable to the major airlines. I loved the job, but I'm glad I chose to leave. I even walked the picket line with them knowing that "a rising tide lifts all boats". Well, this doesn't raise the bar for anyone except the 15+ year demographic (when accounting for inflation). The fact that first year pay is rising less than 10% from 2007-2018 is shameful. That's a severe pay cut in real terms.

The "I got mine...screw everyone else" mentality is way too common in aviation. The PICs got theirs...the SICs got screwed.

I've held the 18-day since hired. Pretty much any schedule should be attainable out of the gate.

That depends on fleet. In the 680, none of the new hires can hold the 18 day. There are a few that are on it simply because they missed they weren't to IOE yet when the flush bid happened. I suspect that we will be able to bid the CC72 next October, but it will be close. As for right now, the 7/7 is the only schedule that we can hold.

The number of large cabin aircraft obviously makes a difference. What does the large cabin situation look like with the eventual departure of the Falcoms, G200s and Gulfstreams? Will there be a net gain with the Global and other Challengers continuing to arrive as replacements? How soon before we see the 650 in service?

The Falcon 2000 Classic and G200 types do not fall under large cabin pay.

Keep in mind the '07CBA limited the 18 day to 40%. That limitation on the high productivity schedules in the new agreement only exists during a period of furlough. The company can allow all bidders onto those schedules now.

The CL650 is coming on line as we type. The G650 will take a bit longer. 😉
