NetJets schedules
You are awarded vacation based on when you start during the year. NJ bids vacation in the summer for the following October to September. So far example, I started in March 2015, and I received a 7 day vacation and a 2 day vacation. That I was able to bid on for October 2015-September 2016.
Don't plan on having anything other than Spring or Fall vacations for a while.

I flew 727s for a "National" carrier, loved it, came to Netjets in 08, enjoyed it, took the mandatory LOA '10-'14, and found my way to freighter 747s, and grooved on that too, when the recall came my familia asked that I return to my 7&7 life and I was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed this job more the second time around . I will never diss 121 , I loved that too, but this job works for me and mine , YM may certainly V, but in my case this has been a very good thing . Cheers, God bless !!! out : )

I don't see anyone knocking it. I was there, during and after the Santulli era, and gave my perspective of NJA vs LCC 121. You're new to NJA but I'm glad things are working out for you. However, I wouldn't call a regional a '121' job no more than I'd call the 135 mom and pops backing up NJA flying 'NetJets'. Even the crappy LCC's (NK/F9/G4) are far better than a regional and a like kind comparison should be made. I write a lot of letters for guys looking to move on so I know the mood over there a bit. I was asked and I answered.
So you "wouldn't call a regional a 121", lmao. It's not really up to you though (sorry no one really told you) but a regional operating flights under Part 121 rules is actually that, operating flights under Part 121 and therefore granted a Part 121 operator certificate. Eureka! It's a 121.
It's not really about what you feel about an airline ("Crappy LCC's" LOL, I love that guy).
But keep going

OMG, not sure if you are just a condescending pr!ck or jut have "that kind" of overconfidence about your narrow-minded intellect.

Regional pilots can't compare their '121' to what 121 actually is. It is significantly different when you actually sell your own tickets. Regional guys make a significant leap in QOL when they move to a LCC/ULCC and an even further leap to the Big 4. Perspective is significant and there are major differences between the different carriers even though, as you so cleverly pointed out, all operate under 14 CFR 121.
The point was to reinforce the idea that former and current regional pilots shouldn't point to their CDO at Comair as life at a 121 for comparison to operating an XLS out of HPN after consulting the NJA galley restocking guide when looking at DL/AA/UA/F9/NK/WN, etc. And don't forget the square plates.
Comas, as comedic pause, are significant. Next week we'll discuss ellipsis'...
